Twilight by Stephenie Meyer

Do I really need to review Twilight for you considering I am the last person on Earth to read the book and/or watch the movie? I’ll just tell you this. LOVED the book (I don’t know what took me so long to read it). Bored with the movie… what happened there?! (I’m not just talking about the production.. I’m talking story-line, so much changed and/or was edited).

What is the best thing about this book is not the fact that it reminds you of what it feels like to fall in love… it’s that it reminds you what it feels like to fall in love the first time. When you are young and have no baggage to carry into the relationship. When you believe that you really, truly will end up being together forever (without even the slightest doubt) and that no one in the world has experienced what you are having right at that moment. When that person is the most perfect person you could ever imagine and you love him and he loves you, and there is no one else in the world when you are together. Ahhhh, to be 18 again.

Have already started into New Moon. Reading slump officially over.

Yay! So glad you read Twilight, Wallace :) I love the series. They are just fun books to read. New Moon is my favorite of the series, so I hope you enjoy it. And yes the movies are a bit laughable, but I still watch them ASAP when they make it to the theaters and I buy them on dvd – I can’t help it :) I chalk the whole series (movies and books) up to my need for the silly, which I feel the whole series has in spades. Happy reading!!

Oh don’t worry Nadia.. I’ll absolutely be renting each movie after I read the book (even if I make fun of it), haha! I am really liking New Moon so far. I was wondering what she was going to do with the characters since they already had a love story going. I’m hooked!

I did enjoy this series as well and like it MUCH more than the cheesy films. Kinda fun every now and again to get caught up in these sorts of stories!

Definitely fun. There is (literally almost) nothing like getting sucked into a good book, let alone a whole series!
