Happy Monday! I hope you all had a lovely weekend. The weather is finally letting up on us here and I am SO thankful for the cool nights again (this chica does not have air conditioning). Luckily the nights get really cold here, so that usually helps (unless, of course, it’s been ridiculously hot during the day – like last week). I also finally saw Moonrise Kingdom this weekend – have any of you seen it? I really get a kick out of Wes Anderson (did that just make me sound like a nonagenarian?), and this one was very Wes.
Here is some reading material for this week, enjoy! xoxo
One of the next movies that I’m dying to see. (Have you read this book? It’s a must if you are interested in French history.)
I listened to the interviews last year; incredibly interesting. Are you Camp Kennedy or Anti-Kennedy after reading this? I think it’s very on-the-nose.
Join the road trip on BookRiot – I’m taking readers from coast to coast!
What do you think about these book picks for a summer holiday?
I actually highlighted things from this article as well as got a bit teary eyed (the son’s birthday party! oh my heart).

I saw Moonrise Kingdom and thought it was the bee’s knees!! Just so fun.
It WAS a lot of fun!
I really want to watch Moonrise Kingdom- still not out in Thailand though!
Farewell, My Queen also piqued my interest.
Loved the booksniffer cartoon. I think we’ve all been in that situation
I’m actually really surprised we got it here, where I live too. We are not getting Farewell, My Queen – I already know that. I’ll have to wait until it’s available to rent.
