Did you see The September Issue? If you fell in love with Grace while watching it, and wanted to know more – this is your answer. This woman, who is usually behind the scenes, shares inside stories from her five decades in the fashion industry (first as a model, then as an editor). From making out with Mick Jagger, to putting makeup on Prince Charles, Coddington has led anything but a boring life. What I truly love about her is, you’d never know it by looking at her or by seeing her lifestyle. Preferring to be home with her partner of thirty years, Didier Malige, and their cats – she’s an undercover trendsetter with a juicy past. I highly recommend picking this one up. Not only is it a quick read, it’s a beautiful book. It’s a bit larger than a regular hardcover, so could be used as a table book. It has thick, wonderful pages, and lots of great pictures and sketches as well. It would make the perfect gift for your pop culture savvy/ fashion friend!

Have you read it? What did you think?

  1. I flew through this book; LOVED it. Grace was the breakout star from The September Issue for me, for sure, and this was just the icing on the cake. What a life!
